This is a very “on-trend” re-texturizer for creating beachy waves and adding support to blowouts. The wave is often a medium to loose wave pattern.

This is a gentler retexturizer and typically lasts 6 months, so not as tight or permanent as the perms of the ’80s and early ’90s. However, this is a lengthy application, so be ready to spend a few hours in the hair salon.

After this service, a haircut is generally recommended to trim away frayed ends and add layers to enhance the wave pattern.

Kerasilk Smoothing Keratin Treatment

This is a de-frizzing treatment meant to reduce puffiness that occurs naturally on medium to coarse textured hair and to combat humidity’s effects on the hair. This service is excellent for those who like to blow out their hair into a smoother style but struggle with frizz. This service cannot loosen naturally wavy/curly hair.

This treatment typically lasts up to a couple of months and is affected by hair’s natural porosity, how often the hair is heat styled, at-home hair care, and environmental effects. This is a lengthy service and takes a couple of hours to apply.
